Get ready for the ride! The second semester of imet 7 is getting ready to rock 'n roll. I just picked up an email that directed me to assignments through the end of February. Wow, now is the lull before the tornado. From the look of the new books we need to purchase, it seems like there will be a lot more web design in my future. I just took a little trip to Amazon.com to gear up. I went to the MacWorld Expo yesterday (wild ride - I think I'll do it again next year!). After previewing the new "must have" software that Apple is offering, I bumped into the "Lynda.com" booth. I must have been guided by the hand of fate. I love their tutorial stuff because it is so easy to understand and you can focus on just what you want to learn. They are now offering a monthly subscription. For $25 a month I can access ALL of their tutorials on line, anytime. The roller coaster learning curve of Dreamweaver just got a lot smoother. The new Quicktime that is coming out soon (v.7) is going to be awesome, too. I will be loaded for bear and fully equipped for another successful semester. Hang on to your seat...here we go!
